With the DiamondGlow diamond-tipped wand, we’ll exfoliate dead skin cells, extract impurities, and infuse the skin with SkinMedicia® Pro-Infusion serums all at once.
Before your DiamondGlow treatment, there are a few actions you’ll want to take. In the days leading up to your appointment, you’ll want to stay hydrated, avoid excess sun exposure, stay away from scrubs, exfoliants, and retinoids, and avoid other facial treatments.
On the day of treatment, you’ll simply want to come to our office with a clean face and no makeup on.
The first part of the Diamond Glow process is exfoliation. Your aesthetician will use a gentle diamond-tip exfoliator to resurface the skin, removing dead skin cells and surface-level blemishes. Next, vacuum pressure will be used to extract dirt, debris, and acne-causing bacteria to clear the pores. With the pores opened, this allows for optimal infusion. SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serums with brightening and anti-aging properties will be applied to the skin for optimal rejuvenation. These advanced Diamond Glow serums will be customized based on your unique skin concerns.
Treatment is completely painless. At most, you’ll feel a light suctioning on your skin. DiamondGlow treatment typically takes 30 minutes.

Visit Team PageAfter treatment, you may notice your skin is red, tight, or slightly swollen, but those side effects will dissipate within a few hours. To ensure the best results, you’ll want to protect your skin from UV damage by wearing sunscreen. You’ll need to avoid saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, and exercise for at least 24 hours. Harsh products like exfoliants and AHA, retinol, and salicylic acid should also be avoided. You’ll also want to be gentle with your skin and avoid picking, scrubbing, or scratching it.
We will also give you a skincare routine to follow to ensure optimal results and maintain your results. As for makeup, you can resume wearing it a day after treatment.
Breakouts are common after DiamondGlow, but they should clear up relatively quickly.
As with any treatment, DiamondGlow comes with risks and side effects. These are typically temporary and will fade on their own. Some of the side effects to look out for include the following:
After your first DiamondGlow treatment session, you will notice radiant and younger-looking results immediately, but with continued treatment, these results will only get better. Your pores will clear out, making it easier to avoid breakouts and blemishes that come with acne. We typically recommend three treatments spaced five weeks apart.
