The O-Shot® (or Orgasm Shot®)is a nonsurgical procedure that uses the growth factors each woman has in her own body to stimulate vaginal and clitoral rejuvenation to address urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, dyspareunia (painful sex), and other symptoms associated with menopause. It also helps improve female orgasm.
Your provider will apply topical numbing to the vaginal area. Immediately prior to the procedure, your blood will be drawn and placed into a centrifuge to isolate the platelet rich plasma or PRP. The PRP will then be injected into the clitoris and upper vagina area using a very small needle. The topical numbing results in little to no pain for the patient.
Mild redness, swelling and and/or numbness for 1-2 days following the procedure is normal. Results can be noticed almost immediately as the growth factors begin to rejuvenate and enhance the sexual result.
