Is your skin hot and bothered?Posted on:
Baby, it’s cold outside. Sometimes a really hot shower is the only way we can warm up! But don’t turn up the heat too high for too long. Extreme temperatures can cause broken capillaries and skin irritation, exacerbating breakouts. Hot water also strips the oils from your skin, and dry winter air further dries out your exquisite epidermis. Consider preheating the bathroom with a space heater instead (keeping it safely away from all water sources, of course). Indulge in a moisturizing body wash and a thick towel and robe. Then turn the water temperature down a bit and let your skin chill out!
