During the procedure, you will wear protective goggles to protect your eyes from the light, and we do have soothing gel available to alleviate any discomfort you may experience. Each session uses gentle, infrared light energy pulses, and most patients who undergo a SkinTyte™ procedure don’t report any pain. For the first 24 hours after treatment, you may experience some slight swelling.
SkinTyte™ is typically performed as a series of treatments, each lasting approximately 30 minutes. We recommend 3 to 5 treatments spaced one month apart for optimal results. Many patients notice visibly firmer skin after the first session, though it may take up to four months after treatment to see full results.
