I chose to venture into solo practice after 15 years of continuous education after high school and then 18 years of group plastic surgery practice as I did not like the way politics and medicine were changing and dictating how I could practice or treat my “patient/partners”. Thus, Aspire Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa was opened April 1, 2012 and I was not even in the country (this is no April Fools joke).

The initial office was 975 square feet in the MOB 2 of Lutheran hospital in which we were a small group of dedicated individuals to bring a different type of medical “CARE” to this region. I did not like the big business model of mass marketing and herding patients through the office to meet quotas.

Our entire team at Aspire has chosen to view each encounter, as we would like to be treated personally. Every member of my staff will treat you the same as they wish to be addressed. The same is true with what we recommend medically and nutritionally for your particular concerns and ultimate goal.

I have been tracking Aspire’s surgical caseloads by month and year (April 1, 2012 – March 31, 2016) and would like to share the Aspire Top Ten List of surgical procedures and discuss each procedure as a separate blog.
